Almond Mocha Latte
Our daily walks hearten … seeing neighbors, people out walking like my husband and me.
The little neighborhood coffee place is pulsing with this crazy great Indian music. I’m dancing and waiting for my almond mocha latte. I ask the masked owner behind the counter fixing coffees about this incredible music. He says it’s to celebrate an Indian holiday called Eid al-Adha and later today they are having an Indian food pop up. He’s happy and excited.
The spirit to stay alive is there for many small businesses. I am over the moon to support them — even in small ways. We all want to contribute and feel like our gifts make a difference. As a small business person myself I know that.
